Former Kenya Law society of Kenya president, Eric Mutua has thrown his weight behind a top candidate in the race .
Mutua has pledged his support for city lawyer Peter Wanyama who has declared interest in replacing Eric Theuri, the outgoing president.
Mutua , has said the society requires a strong and unshakable leader to represent the interest of theemebers of the bar
He said Wanyama has exhibited exemplary and accountable leadership during his practice, hence the need to elevate him to the leadership apex of the society.
Wanyama said he was humbled by confidence the fraternity has assured him during the campaigns.
” He whom much is given ,.much is expected. I won’t give excuses in my leadership”, said Wanyama .
The polls comes in a fortnight this month to decide who takes the new leadership of the society.
