Rachel Otuoma, the wife of former AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars player Ezekiel Otuoma, has revealed that since her husband fell ill four years ago, they have spent two years without intimacy in their marriage.
Otuoma, who appeared on the Obinna show on YouTube alongside her husband, who now uses a wheelchair, said that throughout her husband’s illness, she has remained faithful in their marriage.
The talented player was diagnosed with motor neuron disease, which paralyzed some of his body parts to the extent that he cannot walk or speak.
During the show, where the couple discussed how the disease struck him while he was still playing and the impact it has had on their daily lives, Rachel spoke about her two-year-long suffering without intimacy.
“Since Otuoma fell ill, it’s definitely been four years. We’ve been on this journey for four years and when it started, Otuoma was walking. I can say it’s been two years of suffering without intimacy. And to tell the truth, I’ve never taken matters into my own hands,” Rachel said.
However, Rachel mentioned that some of her husband’s friends have seen his illness as an opportunity and have tried to flirt with her.
“Many men come to my DMs, but I don’t entertain them. Firstly, one of them is his [Otuoma’s] friend, he even saw the messages. I showed him and asked him what kind of friends he has. He told me he would like to take me out for dinner. No,” she said.
