Former Gor Mahia and Harambee Stars midfielder Collins Okoth, also known as Gatusso, is facing serious allegations of allegedly killing and defiling a 5-year-old child in Baba Dogo Estate, Nairobi.

Gatusso is currently detained at Pangani Police Station as the police continue their investigation, awaiting arraignment in court tomorrow.

As we seek further information on this developing situation, football enthusiasts have been deeply shocked by the incident, calling for justice.

Just a week ago, Collins was seen analyzing the Mashemeji derby between Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards at Nyayo Stadium, where Gor secured victory with a solitary goal.

It’s not the first time the Kenyan international midfielder has faced controversy. Eleven years ago, he was accused of child neglect.

Gattuso allegedly fathered a baby girl with another soccer star, Jackline Adhiambo, who played as a goalkeeper for Moyas Football Club in the women’s league.

According to Adhiambo, Gatusso denied responsibility for their three-year-old daughter, Stephamaysy Ignesious, since her birth.

“I’m paid Sh2,500 per game. If I don’t play, I’m not paid. I am forced to live in a single room in Kariobangi that I can hardly afford. I don’t want Gattuso to marry me; I just want him to pay school fees for our daughter,” Adhiambo stated in a previous interview.

She claimed that Gatusso had visited her parents after their child’s birth and promised to take responsibility, but since he moved to Sofapaka, his behavior changed drastically.
