The curtains for campaigns of Law society of Kenya came down today, awaiting the decision of the practitioners through the ballot .

The lawyers will be electing their representatives on 29th this month as the tenure of the current office comes to end.

City lawyer Peter Wanyama has offered himself to contest the seat to replace Eric Theuri.

In his last campaign today, Wanyama was joined by Senior counsel Tom Ojienda , Veteran lawyer Dr John Khaminwa and Danston Omari to deliver his last ‘ pitch ‘ ahead of the polls.

Wanyama has in recent days , been ranked the front runner with his strong message of total change of leadership in the sector that has neglected the welfare of its members.

Wanyama has boldly accused the current and successive leadership of abandoning its core mandate.

Five lawyers are expected to face off in the ballot this week.

Lawyers Faith Odhiambo, Harriet Njoki ,Bernard Kipkoech and Caroline Kamende are among the lawyers listed on the ballot .
