Media personality Nick Odhiambo has been causing a stir ever since his extravagant wedding in Kajiado county.

The news of his nuptials spread like wildfire across social media platforms, eliciting a flood of congratulations from celebrities and politicians alike.

Nick himself took to Instagram to share a breathtaking photo of his newlywed wife, Anne Sumbeiywo, affectionately dubbing her his queen.

In his caption, he proudly introduced her as “Mrs. Odhiambo” and lovingly referred to her as his “baby girl.”

While details about Anne remain relatively scarce unknown details about her have emerged.

According to her social media bio, Anne is a versatile professional currently serving as a consultant with the End Malaria Council.

Her areas of expertise span program and project management, data analysis, strategic communication, organizational management, human resources, consultancy, regulatory compliance, and resource mobilization.

Describing herself as a proactive leader with over 15 years of experience in both public and private sector environments, Anne excels in enhancing operational efficiency and leading teams to exceed corporate objectives.

With a strong foundation in human resources and organizational management, Anne has demonstrated her adeptness in project oversight, ensuring successful execution within stipulated budgets and timelines.

Additionally, she boasts over seven years of experience in the travel industry.

Anne pursued her master’s degree at the United States International University.

However, information regarding her origin and family background remains relatively elusive.

In contrast, Nick Odhiambo hails from a family with diplomatic ties, enjoying a privileged upbringing that afforded him exposure to various countries.

After completing his secondary education at Ruiru High School, Nick pursued further studies at Graffins College and the African Virtual University.

Before his radio career, Nick held a position as a telemarketer at a company called Kencall.

His initial salary amounted to Sh800, with the first installment being Sh400, followed by the remaining sum paid two weeks later.

Nick’s passion for radio ignited at a young age, inspired by an elder cousin who worked as a presenter at Capital FM.

He officially kicked off his career in October 2006 when he joined Classic 105, where he served for over a decade, honing his skills in creating, producing, and executing radio shows.

His distinctive voice also made him a sought-after talent for voiceover work in advertisements.

In April 2017, Nick transitioned to Radio Maisha, taking over the morning show from Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o.

After four years at Radio Maisha, he joined Hot 96

co-hosting the morning breakfast show with veteran journalist Jeff Koinange.
