Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is currently at the Coast on a working visit, where on Thursday morning he hosted a roadside hustler selling mandazis and tea to her clients along Mama Ngina Drive in Mombasa County.
Gachagua, in a social media post, said he reached out to the lady, Asha Sidi Chengo, to understand her drive as she focuses on fending for her family and especially offering her children quality education.
”I reached out to her to understand her drive. I hosted Asha at the Official Residence in Mombasa. The deep determination to live a dignified life and specifically offer her children quality education stood out in our conversation,” Gachagua said.
Adding,” It was, therefore, deserving to support Asha in expanding the hustle, besides Education for her two teenage sons.”
The DPÂ reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to creating an enabling environment for all jobs to thrive.
