Last night, chaos erupted at the Tahmeed Coach terminal in Mombasa as passengers found themselves stranded after a scheduled bus failed to arrive.

The situation escalated into frustration and uncertainty, leaving travelers bewildered and agitated in the late hours of the night.

The ordeal began with the scheduled departure time of 22:45 passing without the bus in sight.

Despite reassurances from the terminal attendant citing repairs being conducted on the vehicle, tensions started to rise as time dragged on.

By 2:24 am, the atmosphere among waiting passengers had turned palpably tense. This frustration was only compounded by the unexpected arrival and departure of police officers from the scene.

Their initial departure only to return later added to the sense of unease among the stranded travelers.

The situation took a dramatic turn when, without warning, the Tahmeed Coach office abruptly closed its doors.

To the shock of the passengers, Tahmeed employees hastily boarded the police vehicle and left the scene, leaving bewildered travelers in the cold, dark night, uncertain about the whereabouts of the promised bus.

With emotions running high and options dwindling, travelers resorted to desperate measures.

They formed a blockade around the police vehicle, preventing it from leaving the terminal.

Faced with uncertainty and feeling abandoned by both the bus company and law enforcement, passengers felt compelled to take matters into their own hands, seeking answers and resolution to their plight.
