Surprise as Woman Married for 20 Years Reveals She Has Never Cooked for Her Husband, Reveals Reasons

Nigerian businesswoman and founder of Woodhall Capital, Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu, has stirred online buzz by revealing that she has never cooked for her husband despite being married for 20 years.

In her recent interview on ‘The Diary Of A Naija Girl’ podcast, Mojisola disclosed that she has not engaged in traditional household activities like cooking due to her busy schedule.

The businesswoman admitted that she would “appreciate having extra time, not just for cooking, but for various family activities, but she struggled to find the time.

According to Moji, she can do “something else” for her husband.

In her words, “I can’t cook. I would love to have more time, not just for cooking, but for other things in the family, but I just don’t have the time, and I have to be honest with my purpose and myself.”

“I love and appreciate women who have the time, but I am faithful to the way God has placed me, and that’s the entrepreneurial path.”

“And somehow, hopefully I’m not speaking out of turn, maybe cooking isn’t my husband’s love language. Maybe he has other things that I do.”

It’s important to note that Hunponu-Wusu founded Woodhall Capital Limited within six years of moving to Nigeria and her previous five-year experience in investment banking, first in London and later in Nigeria.

The company specializes in financial advisory services, particularly in securing international funding for government agencies, large corporations, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations. Since its inception in 2014, Woodhall Capital has facilitated investments of over $3 billion in Africa.
