Comedian Churchill announces TV comeback

Comedian Daniel Ndambuki, famously known as Churchill, has announced the much-anticipated comeback of his beloved television series, ‘The Churchill Show’.

The announcement was  made during a philanthropic visit to Imaara Daima on May 8th where he distributed essential items to flood victims.

In his address to the residents, he expressed gratitude for their longstanding support and revealed plans for the show’s revival, promising fresh talent and inspiring content.

“I love you so much. I came here as a friend, so when you go back home, say you met your friend Churchill. This is because you have also supported me on television for so many years. And for those of you who have been asking, I have good news for you today. The programme you love so much (The Churchill Show) is coming back on TV,” Churchill said.

The revival of ‘The Churchill Show’ holds significant promise for Kenya’s entertainment landscape.

As a platform renowned for showcasing comedy talent, its return is poised to provide opportunities for aspiring comedians to shine on a national stage.

Moreover, Churchill emphasized the importance of unity and support for the government, regardless of political differences.

“It is crucial that we do not wish for the failure of our government; rather, we should consistently pray for its success,” he said, adding, “If the government succeeds, we succeed. Let’s give them the opportunity to fulfil their duties and prosper. Let’s remember to pray daily for our leaders, regardless of their political affiliation. We are one nation striving for the betterment of our country,” he said.

Churchill has nurtured many comedy talents in Kenya through various platforms.
