Flamboyant city lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has shed light on his wife’s unconventional career path, revealing that despite her impressive qualifications in Information Technology, she has chosen to work from home.
In an engaging interview on Churchill Show, Ahmednasir disclosed the unique dynamics of his relationship with his wife, which began after his return to Kenya from the United States, where he pursued his studies.
Despite their initial distance, their connection grew stronger over time, leading to their decision to live together. However, their lives took a turn with the arrival of their first child, prompting Ahmednasir’s wife to pursue higher education abroad at Middlesex University in the United Kingdom.
Upon completing her studies, Ahmednasir’s wife returned to Kenya, armed with a first-class degree in Information Technology.
However, rather than seeking employment in the traditional sense, she opted to work remotely from home.
This decision, as Ahmednasir explained, was driven by the couple’s desire to have someone available to manage household affairs while also contributing to the family income.
”She went to a university in England and studied IT and also got a First Class. But I told her that she would not work because we need someone to work at home. Ever since, she works at home, she is full time employed,” he said.
Despite her qualifications and potential for a successful career in IT, Ahmednasir’s wife chose to prioritize her family’s needs by working from home.
According to Ahmednasir, she manages her work effectively from home and receives a substantial salary.
