Mugithi and Gengetone artist, Peter Miracle Baby, has opened up about his desire to change his career and become a preacher to spread the gospel after battling illness for over 3 months now.

Speaking to KOM, the young man requested to start the interview with prayers, which he did, stating that his intention is to become a preacher.

Miracle Baby, who has been on a long medical journey due to what his wife, Carol Katrue, described as a ruptured small intestine, said it was a vow he made that once he recovered, he would start spreading the gospel.

However, he mentioned that preaching comes in many forms, saying that for now, he doesn’t have a church, and perhaps he might start preaching through music.

“I said I want to be a pastor and preach, you understand. But preaching comes in many ways, one can preach through songs, because someone like me, currently I don’t have a church, nor do I have a place to establish one,” Miracle Baby said.

The artist also expressed his strong faith that God will open doors for him to find a place to start a church, showing great hope in succeeding in this new path.

“I know if God wills it, He will give me a place to establish a church and it will grow, once I get a place to establish a church, I know believers will truly come. So, I’ve started mine through music,” Miracle Baby said, citing their new song ‘Ndi Mwihia’, which they released recently with his wife, Carol Katrue, as an example.

Regarding his journey with his stomach issue, the artist said he started experiencing stomach pains in 2018.

Earlier this year, his condition worsened, leading to his hospitalization and multiple surgeries within a month since January.
