The family of Collins Kipkorir, a blogger who recently went missing and was later found dead, is seeking assistance from well-wishers to cover his burial expenses.

Kipkorir, also known as Cherinyit, vanished on April 8, sparking concern among his loved ones.

Unfortunately, their worst fears were realized when his lifeless body was discovered in his residence in Majengo.

According to Oriop Kipsil, a friend of Kipkorir, the deceased had reached out for help before his death, citing distress. Despite efforts to assist him, Oriop found Kipkorir deceased upon arrival at his home.

The family has announced plans for Kipkorir’s burial, scheduled for April 23, 2024, at his home in Chepkurbet Village, Kapsoit Ward. A fundraiser is also set to take place on April 21, 2024, at Chepkurbet home to raise funds for funeral expenses.

To facilitate fundraising efforts, a WhatsApp group has been established to garner support from the online community. Well-wishers are encouraged to contribute via M-Pesa to Nicholas Sieleg’s number, 0115420411.

It was disclosed that Kipkorir had lost KSh 120,000 in a betting game called Aviator before his untimely demise.

His nephew, Aron Kosgey, revealed that Kipkorir had hoped to increase his winnings but was met with disappointment.
