Kenyan singer Chris Mosioma, better known as Embarambara, has issued a public apology after his videos were officially approved for removal from YouTube by the Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB).

This decision came in response to the release of a song deemed to contain inappropriate content detrimental to society’s moral fabric.

In a candid video message, Embarambara pleaded with the KFCB to reconsider their decision, citing the livelihood of his family as his primary concern.

He expressed deep remorse for his actions, acknowledging the weight of the situation and asking for forgiveness.

“I humbly ask for forgiveness because the letter you handed to me is weighing heavily on me. I know that no human born of a woman is without faults. I beg for forgiveness,” Embarambara earnestly appealed.

He went on to admit his past mistakes and expressed regret for the content he had previously released under the guise of gospel music.

Embarambara recognized the negative impact of his work and vowed to embark on a new path, creating content that would be uplifting and beneficial to society.

Furthermore, Embarambara extended his apology to the Kenyan public, urging those who were offended by his songs and content to find it in their hearts to forgive him.

He emphasized his commitment to change and promised to produce material that would align with moral standards and values.

As he navigates this period of introspection and redemption, Embarambara implored authorities to reconsider their decision to remove his videos from YouTube, citing the platform as his means of providing for his family.

“Mgeniskiza. Kuliko nidelete nyimbo zangu kutoka YouTube, mnibakishie kidogo ili nisomeshe watoto wangu wapate klitu ya kukula. 6.4Million views yote jamani?” He continued.
