Renowned gospel singer Linet Munyali, widely known as Size 8, and her husband, DJ Mo, have recently opened up about the tumultuous challenges they’ve faced in their marriage.

In a candid conversation on their reality show “Love in the Wild,” Size 8 revealed that she had reached a point where she contemplated divorce and even consulted a lawyer to initiate proceedings.

Speaking openly, Size 8 shared the profound struggles she endured, expressing feelings of hopelessness and depression that clouded her judgment.

She admitted to feeling trapped and unable to see a way out of their marital issues, which led her to seriously consider ending their union.

“I reached a place where I felt hopeless, where I saw a point of no return, and I think depression kind of kicked in. So I wasn’t thinking straight. I didn’t see a way out, so I decided to call a divorce lawyer and told him I want to divorce, I want to take the children, so I asked him to start considering the paperwork,” Size 8 shared.

DJ Mo, on the other hand, expressed his shock upon learning about Size 8’s decision through a mere WhatsApp message.

He recounted his confusion, unable to pinpoint the exact reasons that had driven his wife to contemplate such a drastic step.

“When I found out about the lawyer through a WhatsApp message, she told me, ‘I’ve gone to see a lawyer and I’ve written this and that.’ I told her okay, we will talk about it. I was left wondering what I had done,” DJ Moh said.

Despite her initial inclination towards divorce, Size 8 revealed that she ultimately decided against it after seeking counsel from DJ Mo’s mother and attending a church retreat.

“What made me change my mind was, first, I spoke to his mother, and she told me, ‘You’re very angry, don’t rush.’ Then there was the church retreat. So I decided to give my marriage one more chance and see if he’s willing to work on it,” Size 8 explained

Addressing the common perception that men often struggle to recognize their mistakes, Size 8 emphasized that there were numerous underlying issues in their marriage that had contributed to her contemplation of divorce.

She stressed the importance of open communication and mutual understanding in resolving marital conflicts.
