The Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Commodities Fund, Duke Mainga, has extended a helping hand to controversial singer Chris Mosioma, better known as Embarambamba, who recently found himself in a tight spot.

Embarambamba, who hails from Kisii, expressed his plight, stating that he was unable to cover the cost of fuel for his motorcycle to return home after performing at several events in Nairobi.

Mainga, also known as Echate, shared the development on his Facebook page, expressing concern over Embarambamba’s predicament.

He recounted how the singer visited his office and shared his frustrations about being stranded in Nairobi due to a lack of funds to fuel his motorbike for the journey back to Kisii.

“It is quite unfortunate that such a prominent artist is still reliant on a motorbike for long-distance travel and is unable to afford even a small amount of 3,000 shillings for fuel. This is very concerning!” Mainga expressed.

He further emphasized the need to stop exploiting our artists and called for urgent intervention to manage Embarambamba’s affairs effectively.

“Let us refrain from exploiting our artists. Additionally, it is imperative that proper management is put in place for him,” Mainga added.
