In recent years, a growing number of Kenyans have been seeking better opportunities abroad, particularly in Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia. These individuals are driven by the pursuit of greener pastures, hoping to improve their economic prospects and secure a better future for themselves and their families.

Upon arriving in these foreign lands, Kenyans often find themselves venturing into various sectors for employment. Many are employed in sectors such as construction, hospitality, entertainment, and domestic work. Additionally, some Kenyans opt to start their own businesses, leveraging the opportunities available in these new environments.

However, amidst the diverse range of experiences, one story has particularly captured the attention of many back home: the account of Jano, a Kenyan TikToker who shared her unique working experience in Saudi Arabia.

In a video posted on her TikTok page, Jano showcased her workplace, where her employer kept a large snake as a pet. The video depicted the snake casually slithering around the kitchen while Jano went about her daily chores, seemingly unfazed by the presence of the reptile.

The video sparked a wave of reactions among Kenyans, with many expressing shock and disbelief at the sight.
