The death of Embu-based teacher Denis Mukono has taken a troubling turn with revelations from a close associate, adding complexity to ongoing investigations.

Mukono was discovered deceased in his residence following distressing posts on Facebook and the discovery of a purported suicide note beside him.

However, a friend of Mukono has come forward with startling claims, asserting that the handwriting on the supposed ‘suicide note’ does not match Mukono’s.

Moreover, questions arise about the presence of blood on his head, contradicting the theory of poisoning as the cause of death.

Seeking answers, the concerned friend questions the handling of the scene, highlighting discrepancies in the investigation process. He raises concerns about why Mukono was transported in a blanket rather than a body bag, and challenges the assumption that poisoning would result in bleeding.

“Why was he carried in a blanket instead of a body bag. Why was blood all over his head? Who said poisoning one bleeds all over the body?” he sought the answers.

“Why didn’t police conduct preliminary investigations at the scene or was there a cover-up?” he added.

The friend adamantly denies Mukono’s likelihood of suicide, citing his lack of communication with any of his close contacts prior to his death.

Additionally, it is revealed that Mukono was already married, casting doubt on the motive attributed to his ex-girlfriend’s rejection of his marriage proposal.
