Raila, Kalonzo, Uhuru, Secret Talks Jolts United Opposition

ODM leader Raila Odinga and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka are reportedly engaged in talks over 2027 politics, a move that has sparked a wave of suspicion and unease within the United Opposition.

According to reports, Mr. Odinga, former President Uhuru Kenyatta, and Mr. Musyoka have held several secret meetings in Nairobi, and the three are believed will be engaging frequently ahead of the next elections.

Unlike Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper, Jubilee, and ODM Parties have ''donated experts'' to the broad-based government. 

Raila Odinga is currently working with President William Ruto to implement their MoU's ten-point agenda and has remained tight-lipped over 2027.

In a rare occurrence, President William Ruto and his predecessor met at  State House in Nairobi on August 1, 2025.

The two leaders were attending a joint meeting of the East African Community (EAC) and Southern African Development Community (SADC) Co-Chairs with the Panel of Facilitators for the DRC Peace Process.
