Kenya’s Leading Apiculture Company Savannah Honey to Host Historic Bee Venom Launch

The Kenyan apiculture sector is set for a major transformation as Savannah Honey prepares to host Africa’s first-ever Bee Venom Marketplace launch. 

The landmark event, scheduled for 18th February 2026 at the company’s headquarters in Utawala, is expected to attract farmers, investors, researchers, and policymakers from across the region.

Savannah CEO Kyalo Mutua extended an invitation to stakeholders for the landmark launch, which will be officiated by Wycliffe Oparanya, Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development."

For years, Savannah Honey has worked closely with small-scale farmers and beekeepers, providing training, modern equipment, and reliable market linkages.
