The daughter of President William Ruto, Charlene Ruto, has openly acknowledged that she has a prominent forehead.
Speaking in an interview with Victoria Rubadiri on Citizen TV, Charlene, however, emphasized that she loves her prominent forehead despite its size.
The president’s daughter made these remarks while responding to many critics of her body, appearance, and style.
“I have a prominent forehead, and I love my forehead. I mean, I really love my forehead and I don’t hide it,” Charlene said on Saturday evening.
She noted that people started paying more attention to her body and style after she gained significant popularity in 2022 when she launched nationwide tours.
The president’s daughter revealed that even when her media aides suggest hiding certain parts of her due to concerns, she often instructs them not to hide anything.
“Even when they try to hide using my hair, I tell them, don’t hide the forehead, it’s there, and God blessed me with it,” she said.
Charlene mentioned that aside from her prominent forehead, Kenyans on social media have also attacked her about her hair and accessories.
The president’s daughter disclosed that being attacked on social media because of her appearance led her to include online harassment among the thirty issues she aims to address in the country.
“When we have a platform, we don’t need to misuse it. Let’s use it as a platform to encourage each other and speak positively about each other,” she said.
Charlene said that she began nationwide tours in 2022 to tell her own story as people were getting wrong ideas about her.
