Radio Citizen presenter Steve Jacob Maunda, known by his stage name Shatta Bway, has made a heartfelt announcement regarding his departure from Radio Citizen.
Shatta Bway, renowned for hosting the beloved ‘Waks Tikitaka’ show on Radio Citizen alongside Q-tee, chose to share the news with his followers via his TikTok page.
The revelation left many of his fans deeply saddened and stirred emotions among his dedicated audience.
Shatta Bway shared that his departure from Radio Citizen stems from a solemn promise he made to his late wife, a commitment to prioritize and care for their children.
In the midst of his wife’s burial, he tenderly expressed his devotion, promising to love and cherish their children as deeply as she had.
“As you embark on your journey, carry with you the crown of our love. I pledge to love our children as deeply as you did. I will shield them, nurture them, and strive to be the father you envisioned,” Bway tenderly expressed during his wife burial.
Alongside his departure from Radio Citizen, he revealed that he has secured another role in consultancy, one that he believes will allow him to have a significant impact while also affording him more time to be present for his children.
