Gracie Bon, a 26-year-old online influencer with a curvy figure, has passionately called on airlines to increase the size of their seats due to her inability to fit comfortably in standard airplane seats.

Hailing from Panama, Gracie shared a video documenting the challenges she faces during air travel as a plus-sized woman. The footage captures her struggling to fasten her seatbelt while seated on the plane. Later, she is seen walking through the airport, smiling and showcasing her figure.

The Instagram model stated, “Airplanes should have larger seats. Today, I was on a flight, and even though I was traveling in first class, I couldn’t fit in the seat. This is a plea to all airlines so that big girls like me can fly comfortably.”

Gracie emphasizes, “It’s not my fault I have this big of a figure. Please make the seats larger.”

She shared the clip on Instagram with her 4.5 million followers, where it garnered 1.3 million views and 3,500 comments.

However, not everyone agreed, and some viewers quickly argued that her issue was self-inflicted after choosing to undergo body modification surgery.

One user commented, “What you need is a bigger brain,” while another wrote, “It’s your fault. You paid for the surgery.”

Another suggested, “Buy two seats instead of one; clearly, you have enough money to afford it.”

Meanwhile, others made light of the situation with comments like, “Take the train” and “Buy two seats instead of one; clearly, you have enough money to afford it.”

Someone else jokingly asked, “Whose fault is it anyway? No one forced you to have surgery.”

The video showcases the 26-year-old woman struggling to fasten her seatbelt on the plane due to her larger size.

Some comments included, “Are you accidentally having surgeries?” and “Stop undergoing surgery to make it bigger.”

However, some users supported Gracie’s plea, with one commenter stating, “I agree. I definitely need a larger seat and a seatbelt without that annoying buckle. Can they give us a bra that fits too?”

Another added, “I agree! One of my cheeks is always spilling over.”

At the same time, a third person laughed, saying, “Let’s start a rebellion! This is not fair and unjust!”

Another hinted, “The only surgery she has had was a tummy tuck. Her buttocks are naturally this big.”

It is unconfirmed what kind of surgery the Panama-based model has undergone.

The debate on whether larger individuals should pay for an extra airline seat or receive one for free has been divisive for many years.

In 2023, a prominent figure faced backlash for demanding airlines eliminate their ‘discriminatory’ policies and provide free extra seats for heavy passengers. One expert suggested it is their human right to get what they want.

Gracie reiterates, “It’s not my fault I have a *** this big. Please make the seats larger.”
