Nigeria Sends This Message to Nigerians in Kenya After Murder Of JKUAT Student

The Nigerian High Commission (NHC) has advised all its citizens who are in Kenya to be vigilant and avoid unnecessary movements following the murder incident in Roysambu where its national was alleged to be the main suspect.

An official at the Commission confirmed to Kenyans.co.ke that the statement was released to ease the tension sparked by the murder of the 20-year-old Jomo Kenyatta University of Arts and Technology (JKUAT) student who has been identified as Rita Waeni Muendo.

Nigerian citizens were further urged to remain calm and continue to be law-abiding members of the public after the incident that has caught the attention of several Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to call for action.

According to the reports given by a reliable source of information, it has been reported that a Nigerian national was arrested by Police officers over the death of the deceased who is said to have been found dead in an Airbnb apartment in Kasarani, an incident that has caught the attention of the former prime minister of Kenya who is also the Presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition, Honorable Raila Odinga.

Speaking about this incident, the former prime minister of Kenya who is also the Presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition has called upon the government under President William Ruto to take action against the suspects who have been Killing these women stating that the ongoing deaths of women who are being Killed in the country MUST stop.
