Pictures of Somali businessman Jimal Rohosafi and female politician Sabina Wanjiru Wa Chege at his office have sparked discussions on social media.
The images were shared by the businessman, and Huduma Credit CEO spent his Friday at his town offices, where he met the former Muranga Woman Representative in what appeared to be a celebratory mood.
“It was nice catching up mwesh,” Jimal told her as he tagged her Instagram account. The Jubilee Parliamentary Party Whip runs a foundation sponsoring needy students, but she has not shared images of the said meeting.
One photo shows Chege leaning onto his office desk and reaching in to touch Jimal’s face, capturing attention over its suggestive nature.
This rather handsy image raised eyebrows regarding how they got together.
While the caption showed the photo, it added widespread comments from social media users, one of whom wrote “Mkuu,” used by men to show other men their approval and dominance.
Jimal gladly reposted the comments, perhaps indicating his amusement at the wave of comments.
The post also garnered negative comments from hawk-eyed Kenyans from the Muslim community who criticized them for sitting on a Quran.
In a post shared by lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi, he criticized the former Amber Ray fiancee, saying, ‘Literally sitting on the Quran. Maybe he wanted it as a witness.’
