Famous couple Kelvin Bahati and Diana Marua have pledged to have their official wedding ceremony next year in 2024 after their initial plan to tie the knot this year fell through.
On Monday morning, Diana Marua shared beautiful pictures of herself and her husband enjoying romantic moments at their friend’s wedding they attended about a week ago. The two were among the bridal party during Director Ritchie’s wedding, which took place last week.
In the caption of those pictures, the popular YouTube vlogger expressed her strong desire to officially marry Bahati, whom she acknowledged as her best friend. “I can’t wait for the day I will say YES I DO to my best friend @BahatiKenya.. I love you, dear.. 2024 will be The Bahatis’ year,” Diana Marua wrote, accompanying the statement with a ring emoji.
Singer Bahati also confirmed his wife’s words by saying, “I have sworn for 2024!!”
The officially engaged couple, who announced earlier this year that they would have a grand wedding on December 12, 2023, did not proceed with the planned ceremony. Instead, they attended the wedding of their friend Director Ritchie.
While congratulating Director Ritchie and his wife last week, the two lovers stated that it was supposed to be their big day, but due to unavoidable circumstances, they had to postpone it. However, they promised to announce a new date soon.
“Today was supposed to be our wedding day but… Congratulations to our friends @Directorritchie and @RenaSolomon. We are happy to be part of your Line-Up as we take notes on how we will bring you our big celebration. 💑 New wedding dates will be announced soon…” Bahati wrote.
Approximately two months ago, Bahati revealed that he had already paid dowry for the mother of his three children and hinted that they would be getting married soon.
