In a candid revelation, renowned Kenyan musician and entrepreneur, Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has openly admitted to finding a sense of relief after losing her pregnancy with her former husband, Denis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer.

During a recent interview, Akothee shared the reasons behind her unexpected emotions and the subsequent impact on her life.

Akothee revealed that the lost pregnancy, which would have been her first child with Omosh, came as a blessing in disguise. She expressed her gratitude for the turn of events, stating that she couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief when she considered the alternative scenario of becoming a mother again at her age.

The 43-year-old singer opened up about the challenges she would have faced, especially concerning co-parenting with Omosh, had the pregnancy progressed.

Furthermore, Akothee shed light on her initial reservations, admitting that she had regretted not waiting for her relationship with Omosh to stabilize before getting pregnant.

However, she clarified that she was prepared to have a child when she met him. Akothee emphasized her financial stability at the time, mentioning that she was even considering adopting a child from Europe due to her readiness to embrace motherhood.

Reflecting on her situation, Akothee emphasized the importance of realistic decision-making, especially in relationships. She acknowledged that sometimes women, including herself, might rush into decisions without considering the potential challenges they could face later on.

Additionally, Akothee disclosed that her brief marriage to Omosh came to an end due to incompatibility issues.

She shared that during their honeymoon, she discovered aspects of Omosh’s personality that she found intolerable, leading to their decision to part ways.
