In a recent revelation, Nuru Okanga, a member of Azimio One Kenya Alliance and Bunge La Wananchi, exposed the generous offers he received from United Democratic Alliance (UDA) leaders to abandon his support for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

During an interview with a local TV station, Okanga disclosed that he was approached by President William Ruto’s associates, who tempted him with a luxurious lifestyle if he agreed to part ways with “BABA” (a term of respect for Raila Odinga).

The UDA leaders allegedly offered him a staggering sum of two hundred million Kenyan shillings in cash, along with a luxurious Range Rover Sport vehicle. Moreover, they promised to construct a lavish house for him in the posh neighborhood of Karen, should he accept their proposition to abandon his loyalty to Raila Odinga.

However, Okanga firmly declined the alluring offer, stating that his primary mission is to fight for the rights and interests of the people of Kenya. He emphasized that he is not willing to prioritize personal gain over the well-being of fellow Kenyans, who are currently facing hardships due to the soaring cost of living.
