Neno Evangelism founder, Pastor James Ng’ang’a, stirred controversy with his candid critique of Benny Hinn’s crusade held at Nyayo Stadium.

The event, which garnered significant attention, witnessed Ng’ang’a and his wife, Loise Murugi, among the attendees. However, Ng’ang’a’s observations painted a picture of disappointment with Hinn’s performance.

Ng’ang’a admitted attending the crusade with the intention of witnessing how God operates through Hinn. However, what he witnessed did not meet his expectations.

“I went to the meeting. I just went to see how God uses him. I will not speak now, but something is wrong. That man struggled. He struggled. He is a singer and he sang in my presence, but he struggled,” he said.

According to Ng’ang’a, Hinn’s performance failed to leave a lasting impression, particularly citing Hinn’s difficulties during singing.

Beyond Hinn’s performance, Ng’ang’a expressed feelings of disrespect at the event. He revealed being acknowledged only once and seated at a distance from the main stage, which he deemed inadequate recognition considering his stature within the religious community.

”I am a man of tactics. I was put to sit somewhere at a table that was not so close. I was only recognised once. Greet somebody and tell them to mind your own business,” he added.

Despite Ng’ang’a’s reservations, Benny Hinn’s crusade at Nyayo Stadium drew significant attention and included prominent figures like First Lady Rachel Ruto and celebrated Kenyan televangelist Pastor Ezekiel Odero.

On Sunday, other leaders including President William Ruto, his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi, and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka joined the event.
