Milton Isalano, a talented chef from Kenya, has achieved incredible success in the culinary world, making his mark not only in his home country but also in one of the world’s most renowned English Premier League clubs, Manchester United.

Isalano’s journey began in Nairobi, where he worked as a Pioneer Senior Chef at the prestigious Windsor Golf and Country Club from 1991 to 2002.

His skills and passion for cooking led him to the United Kingdom, where he joined Manchester United as a Senior Chef in 2005, during the time when Sir Alex Ferguson was the head coach.

Reflecting on his earlier years, Isalano mentioned that he also held a significant role as the Head Chef of V.I.P Escape Lounges at Manchester Airport from 2010 to 2014. In these lounges, he catered to important guests, including the Manchester United and Manchester City football teams before their flights. T

Working at Manchester United is no small feat. The club boasts a whopping 26 kitchens, and on match days, they require the skills of around 120 chefs. Isalano’s role in this operation is crucial, ensuring that the players and staff are well-fed and energized.

Isalano’s talents extend beyond the football field. He also spent time at a prestigious 5-star Gotham Hotel, where he had the honor of serving celebrities like Simon Cowell from the popular show X-factor. This opportunity added to his reputation as a top-notch chef.

Before making his mark in the UK, Isalano laid the foundation for his culinary journey with short chef’s courses at Kenya Utalii College and Kenya Polytechnic.

His dedication to honing his skills led him to complete a Chef’s Diploma at Lancaster and Morecambe College between 2004 and 2006. Later, in 2012, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Salford University.
