Yala Apartments in Kilimani was involved into the Four IEBC Commissioners case as it was alleged that the Commissioners used the hotel after their public brief at Serena. Sources revealed that Azimio booked three rooms in the apartment for these Commissioners. The tribunal called upon the hotel to give information on the four.

The Court has received a blow after the hotel said that it was unable to provide the CCTV evidence of the proceedings of that day at the hotel. It argues that it does not store the footage beyond one month.

And since the period has surpassed one month, the footage of that day is unavailable. CCTV footage of that day could have shown the people that were in the hotel which could help in drawing the conclusion of what is between Raila’s side and the Commissioners. The Court will now be forced to use other evidence on these four Commissioners.
