Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta was forced to respond to the environmental climate change question after being scolded by the world leaders who attended the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres speaking at the United Nations Assembly summit urged nations to take initiative and push for climate reforms before it was too late.

The world leaders who attended the summit could not keep mum but decided to scold the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta regarding the climate change that has impacted the Kenyan country negatively.

President Kenyatta in the receiving end had no choice but to respond to the big question concurring with the teenage climate change activist Greta Thunberg over the impact that the environmental changes would have on future generations.

According to records, Guterres was promoted to warn the world leaders that the United Nations Climate Action Summit will be tough and will not be business as usual.

President Kenyatta took to the podium the sentiments and called upon other world leaders to follow Kenya’s footsteps and take initiative.

President Kenyatta reported that Kenya had taken a step to ensure that it was meeting the internationally agreed climate obligations in the sectors of the blue economy, energy, and the environment.

President Kenyatta also stated that Kenya is a commitment to tackle climate change arose out of the need to secure Kenyans future and their children as Kenyans have been victims of droughts and declining rainfall which destroyed lives and livelihoods of Kenyans at large.
