Nyinyi ni Mafala: Pastor Ng’ang’a Insults His Church Congregants and Reveals Why He Didn’t Attend Last Week’s Anti-Government Demonstration

Controversial preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a recently explained why he did not attend last week’s Gen-Z anti-government demonstration.

During a sermon last Sunday, Ng’ang’a, who opposed the 2024 financial bill that was not signed into law by President William Ruto, mentioned his intention to join the protest on Tuesday, June 25.

“I will attend the next demonstration. When is it? Tuesday? I will attend. So just come with teargas to lob at me,” he earlier declared.

However, during today’s church service, Ng’ang’a called his congregants “mafala” (fools) while discussing how he was advised by the youth to sit out the demonstration, which was intended for Gen-Z participants only.

He questioned what older people like him would be called if the youth were referred to as Gen-Z.

“I was planning to join the protests, but the young people told me it was for Gen-Z only,” Ng’ang’a said, again calling his congregants “mafala” for not knowing what to call older generations if the youth are known as Gen-Z.
