Founder behind Rucher Africa Kenya LTD Refutes Claims of Supplying Chemicals for Police Water Cannons

Over the past week, widespread reports have suggested that Rueben Ndirangu, the founder of Rucher Africa Kenya LTD, has been supplying the Kenyan government with chemicals for the water cannons used by the police to disperse demonstrators protesting the controversial Financial Bill 2024.

The misinformation began when Jubilee Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni insinuated to the youth that a company located in the larger Industrial Area has been supplying the government with chemicals to refill the water cannons once the chemicals are depleted.

Without revealing the full name of the company, Kioni mentioned that the company’s name started with the letter ‘R’ and encouraged the youth to conduct further research, stating he was not in a position to disclose the full name.

This led to speculation among some Kenyans, who incorrectly identified Rucher Africa Kenya LTD, which is also located in the Industrial Area, as the company in question.

Unaware that there are many companies in the Industrial Area whose names start with ‘R’, these individuals began spreading false information about Rucher Africa Kenya LTD.

When reached for comment, Rueben Ndirangu, the founder of Rucher Africa Kenya LTD, suggested that his competitors might be behind this false narrative to tarnish his company’s reputation.

“I am even surprised to hear that I supply the government with chemicals for their water cannons. I have never done any business with any government organization. My company is new, and I have only been supplying water treatment detergents to local Kenyan companies,” Ndirangu stated.

He further emphasized that Rucher Africa Kenya LTD is Kenya’s premier supplier of a comprehensive range of industrial chemicals, essential oils, flavors, and cutting-edge reverse osmosis (RO) systems for water treatment
