The Member of Parliament for Mumias East, Peter Salasya, has reportedly been arrested by individuals believed to be officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
In a post shared on his social media platforms, Salasya claimed he was apprehended while traveling along the Isiolo-Nanyuki road. “I have been arrested on my way from Isiolo, Nanyuki road,” he wrote.
He further alleged that his vehicle was intercepted and disabled by armed men in masks, stating, “My car was shot down by masked armed men with AK-47s. We suspect they are CIDs.”
