Muguna, Odada optimistic ahead of Rwanda test.

Harambee stats midfielder Richard Odada has exuded confidence in the team on gaining maximum points  against the Amavumbi stars of Rwanda in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers match on Sunday.

 

The Harambee Stars departed the country on Thursday evening, a few hours after they drew 0-0 with Uganda in their opening preliminary qualifying clash at the Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi.

 

Speaking after having a recovery session on Friday at the Mumena Stadium in Kigali, the Serbian based players remained optimistic of getting good results and advancing past the group stages.

“We got a goalles draw at home, and it was not the result we had hoped to attain as a team, but we are working on our weak points and hope to Nick all the three points against Rwanda,” Said Richard Odada.

Former Gor mahia Midfielder Kenneth Muguna echoed his sentiments, saying despite the pressure to Garner maximum points, they will will work hard as a team to attain a positive results against Rwanda.

“This is a must win match for us and of course there is pressure to perform well, but we are working together as a team to help us attain a positive result against Rwanda,” Echoed Kenneth Muguna.

Stars face Rwanda’s Amavumbi (The Wasp) on Sunday at the Kigali stadium from 4 pm.
