New Harambee Stars coach Engin First has named a 34-man provisional squad ahead of the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Mali next month.
Spain-based midfielder Ismael Gonzalez, Greek’s AEL Larissa Left back Abud Omar, Simba Sc defender Joash Onyango, Winger Ovella Ocheing are some of the players who have been recalled to the squad.
Other who have made a comeback after the appointment of Turkish coach Firat are Faruk Shikhalo, a former bandari goalkeeper who featured in the 2019 cup of Nation’s, Nkana midfielder Duke Abuya, Wazito Defender Johnstone Omurwa and Tusker Midfielder Erick Zakayo.
The squad will be up against Mali away, in Morocco, on October 7, before traveling back on the home match on October 10, 2021.
