Kenyan singer Kevin Bahati has expressed his consideration to undergo vasectomy after the birth of his third child with wife Diana Marua, as the withdrawal method is not working for him.
Bahati already has a child from a previous relationship and has also adopted two children with Marua. He stated that he does not want more children as he already has enough.
“Honestly I am considering carrying out a vasectomy because the withdrawal method clearly isn’t working for me. It’s become a little bit tricky and I don’t want more children, I already have enough,” Bahati said.
Additionally, the singer has commented on the strained relationship between his wife and his ex-partner Yvette Obura. Bahati has supported his wife and stated that he is not concerned with the drama surrounding the two women, as he is only involved with his wife.
However, he has clarified that the co-parenting arrangement with Obura has not been affected by the fallout.
Vasectomy is a surgical procedure that involves the male sterilization by cutting or blocking the vas deferens, the tubes that carry sperm from the testicles to the urethra. The procedure is considered permanent and is often chosen by couples who do not want to have children or have completed their family.
