“Tumechoka” Raila Diehard Supporters Deliver Bad News To Him As He Seeks To Challenge Ruto’s Victory
A section of Kenyans supporting ODM leader Raila Odinga have expressed their dissatisfaction of him always complaining after every election over being rigged out.
According to one, who identified herself as Maggie Atieno, she was tired after voting for Raila a number of times yet he was unsuccessful and all he could was lament and point finger to his opponents.
Atieno, who hails from Kisumu but is currently based in Thika, wondered why Raila complains of being rigged out instead of him rigging as well so that he can clinch the presidential seat that he has been looking for for years.
“Will you always be saying that you have been rigged out. Please leave us in peace, go home and let Ruto be sworn in. You have tried several times but you have failed. We are tired, we have voted for you until we are tired. You claimed to have been rigged out during Uhuru’s time, the same during Moi’s time again this time? Why are you struggling with a younger man, why don’t you rig too? Or don’t you have money? Rig!” the angry woman remarked.
She went ahead to endorse Ruto after Raila’s fifth presidential bid backfired terribly.
“Right now I will support William Ruto, he is my president, he the one supposed to be called baba. Go and rig as well, I want Kenya to go on well,” she said.
This comes just days after Raila addressed the nation following the declaration of William Ruto as the newly elected president.
Raila, who flew the Azimio-OKA flag in the 2022 general elections said that they had rejected the declaration, referring to it as null and void.
“The figures announced by Mr. Chebukati are null and void and must be quashed by a court of law. In our view, there is neither a legally and validly declared winner nor a President-Elect,” the former prime minister said.
