After the general election on August 9, in which William Ruto, the leader of the Kenya Kwanza party, triumphed and took office as the nation’s new leader, succeeding Uhuru Kenyatta, opposition leader Raila Odinga declared that he is still steady and vowed to steadfastly unearth the truth for Kenyans.

Speaking in Bondo Sub-County of Siaya County, Raila asserted that the most recent general election was chaotic and that Chebukati just looked out for his personal self-interests rather than the interests of the country.

“A deplorable situation happened on August 15. While in full front of the cameras, the church was observed attempting to clean up a highly botched procedure “Raila’s words

On a day when financial affluence was pervasive, Ole Sapit gave a lecture at the Kenyan bomas. In addition to urging Kenyans to unite, he sent forth a message of peace. There was a ruckus when Chebukati arrived for the first time to declare the results earlier; as a result, he was escorted back inside the Bomas at this point.

Opposition chief Raila Odinga has today come out clear to explain his relationship with the former head of state and government president Uhuru Kenyatta whom he has termed as a good friend to him and his family since then. He said his closes with Uhuru Kenyatta has helped to amend political woes between him and Uhuru’s family.

Raila Odinga added that he is a Pigovian who knows how to calculate his moves well and therefore the president did not have to campaign for him in the last general election saying he has been doing it himself and winning the election.

“Uhuru chose to support me because of my track records, but he was not the one to campaign for me. He did not move around campaigning for me. He basically stood on his duties and did not use his position as the incumbent president to swing the results in my favour,” he said.

Spesking during and interview with citizen television, Raila said he will make announcement later on where he will be on the ballot box come 2027 general election or not.
