Azimio’s patron, Honorable Raila Odinga, drew laughter in Mombasa after he openly called for the prosecution of IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati in The Hague.
He reiterated his desire to see justice done to the Chief for his crimes in the previous general election. According to him, justice must be done so that Kenyans have a reason to vote in the next election. Raila said he wanted Chebukat to be brought to The Hague to face the charges against him.
“We want to see justice served because if nothing happens there will be no need for Kenya to vote in 2027. Chebukati must clean up the mess he made. Chebukati must be held accountable for his crimes against Kenyans. He must be taken to The Hague to stand trial. We I hope we will be together in this.” ODM party leader Raila Odinga said.

Raila has promised to ensure that the ODM Party is reorganized from the bottom up and that all of its leaders are collaborating.
The ODM leader wants to see the party’s leaders get together and collaborate on the goals of the group. According to him, Azimo will be a stronger coalition if ODM and the other parties in it are also strong. He was meeting local leaders when he gave a speech on Friday in Mombasa County.

Further asserting that the leaders who agreed to cooperate with President Ruto were only doing so because they needed money from the government, Raila said that this did not entail that they would leave their camp.”If a governor says he is working with the national government does not mean he has defected.
