Siaya Senator James Orengo has raised the red flag over Kenyans Democratic gain which he now say is at risk due to the country’s political leadership.
The legistlator says that countries accelerate development and Democratic stage and can only be guided by only who have over the years proved to have public interest at heart.
Orengo who spoke during the celebration of the anniversary of former Ugenya Mp Archbishop Stephen Ondiek in Ugenya constituency, warned that their are other leaders in government who are part of anti-progress movement.
He also commended President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga for the unity and handshake which led to peace that Kenyans are currently enjoying.
He called them to ensure that they don’t leave the country in the hands of those who will reverse the gains which have been realized as a result of their cardial working relationship.
On the race for succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta, the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) Member DR Oburu Odinga who was also in attendance, said Mr. Odinga is not waiting for endorsement from anybody as race for state house hots up.
He said the ODM leader is in the struggle to ascend to the top leadership of Kenya, adding that he is not expecting to be given the top seat in a silver plate
