President Ruto Breaks Silence Days After Sacking Aisha Jumwa from Cabinet

President William Ruto has addressed the political fallout following the exclusion of Aisha Jumwa, former Gender Cabinet Secretary, from the newly announced Cabinet nominees.

During a public address in Kilifi County, President Ruto made it clear that despite Jumwa’s exclusion, she remains an integral ally in his political circle.

“Aisha Jumwa is my sister, and I cannot leave her. I will walk with her,” he declared, emphasizing his ongoing commitment to her political career.

Jumwa, who attended the event, expressed her gratitude towards the President for previously entrusting her with a Cabinet position.

She publicly thanked him for the opportunity to serve and highlighted her dedication to supporting the newly appointed Cabinet Secretaries from the Coast, Hassan Joho and Salim Mvurya.

“I thank Ruto for giving me a chance to work in his Cabinet. I support the decision he took,” she remarked, showcasing her unwavering loyalty to the President’s leadership.
