Nairobi, June 24, 2024 – In the wake of the recent anti-finance bill protests spearheaded by Generation Z, Pastor James Ng’ang’a, founder of Neno Evangelism, has declared his intention to join the demonstrations against the Finance Bill 2024.

Addressing his congregation during a service on Sunday, June 23, the outspoken televangelist articulated his reasons for taking to the streets on Tuesday, June 25.

Pastor Ng’ang’a’s announcement came amidst a climate of growing dissatisfaction with the proposed Finance Bill, which many Kenyans believe will impose unfair economic burdens.

Speaking passionately to his followers, Ng’ang’a criticized the bill for its potential to exacerbate financial hardships among ordinary citizens.

He stated that his decision to protest was driven by a sense of duty to stand with his fellow Kenyans in opposition to policies they deem detrimental.

“I will attend the next demonstration. When is it? Tuesday? I will attend. So just come with teargas you lob at me,” Ng’ang’a boldly declared, challenging the anti-riot police who are often deployed to manage protests.

His defiance reflects the frustration and resilience of many Kenyans who feel their voices are being ignored by policymakers.
