President Uhuru Kenyatta has reshuffled his cabinet and the axe has fallen on Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri.
Days after asking Kenyans to take pictures of the locust harassing residents on North and Eastern parts of the country, kiunjuri has been kicked out of the cabinet and replaced with Peter Munya as the new Agriculture CS while Monica Juma heads to the Defense docket.
Mutahi Kagwe takes over Sicily Kariuki,s docket as the new Health CS while Betty Maina takes over the Industrialisation docket. Sicily Kariuki will now head the water ministry as Rachel Omamo is reassigned to Foreign Affairs.
Simon Chelugui moves to the Labour Ministry as Ukur Yatani officially becomes Finance CS.
Dr. Fred Matiang’i (Interior) still holds his docket. Other cabinet Secretaries who have retained their positions include;
