Is Ngirici Diching UDA? Here Is What She Told Waiguru

Kirinyaga Woman Representative Wangui Ngirici has said that he is ready to leave United Democratic Alliance (UDA) if the party ditch her for Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru in the nominations.

Ngirici noted that she is not tied to Deputy President William Ruto-allied as a goat and is ready to move to another political vehicle if it chooses Waiguru over her.

The first-time MP further noted that she is ready to battle Waiguru in any political party in the nominations at any time.

“I am not afraid of any possible competition from Waiguru, who is still listening to what the ground is saying when we are already past that level,” Ngirici said.

She noted that she knows what the people in the grassroots are saying, unlike Waiguru who still consulting to make her next political move.

“I know how the ground looks like since I am always with the people unlike the governor, who is still listening to what the ground is saying before she decides on her next move,” the lawmaker said.

Ngirici said that the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat should be contested by those who live with the wananchi and not by those who don’t know what is going on at the grassroots level.
