A source close to Moses Kuria’s office has unveiled the immediate actions taken by the former Cabinet Secretary following President Ruto’s announcement to dissolve the entire Cabinet.
The dramatic announcement was made during a Thursday afternoon address from State House, leaving many stunned and scrambling.

Moses Kuria, who served as the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service Performance and Delivery Management, was reportedly in his office when President Ruto delivered the unexpected news.

The insider revealed that Kuria appeared to have some forewarning about the impending dissolution. “He packed his things and left immediately the president started reading his speech,” an aide disclosed, speaking on condition of anonymity to a local daily.

Within hours of the announcement, Kuria took further steps to adjust to his new reality.

He updated his X profile, removing any mention of his position as Cabinet Secretary.

The only detail remaining was his Head of State Commendation (HSC) Award, which was conferred by former President Mwai Kibaki on December 12, 2009.

Interestingly, while Kuria was quick to update his X profile, his Facebook page still listed him as a Cabinet Minister.

President Ruto justified the drastic decision by stating that it came after careful reflection and in response to the wishes of the Kenyan people.

The dissolution affected all Cabinet Secretaries except the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign Affairs CS Musalia Mudavadi.
