“I won’t join ODM or UDA” Raila, Ruto receives a major setback as key politician declares ahead of the 2022 general election

Raila and Ruto’s parties will face a major setback as a key politician declares his stand ahead of the 2022 general elections.

The former Mukurweini Member of Parliament Kabando wa Kabando who took to his Twitter account, clearly stated that he was not going to join either the UDA or ODM as he eyes the Mukurweini parliamentary seat.

He also dismissed plans of joining KANU and the ruling jubilee party.

Also in his revelation, Kabando says he is still undecided on who to vote for in the 2022 Presidential Elections. However, he has accounted for who he has been voting for since 1992.

Kabando wa Kabando revealed that in1992 he voted for Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, 1997 for Charity Ngilu, 2002 for Mwai Kibaki, 2007 for Raila Odinga, 2013 for Uhuru Kenyatta.

He adds that in 2017 he voted for Raila Odinga but a repeat of in the election after the supreme Court nullified the first election, he says he voted for Uhuru Kenyatta.

Earlier, Kabando was quoted by a section of the media saying that ODM leader Raila Odinga presidency is increasingly becoming a reality.

According to Kabando, he had meet several Presidential candidate but the ODM leader is increasingly winning people’s confidence.

While acknowledging the efforts being made by Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto in the 2022 state house race, the former legislator believes the former Prime Minister would easily beat other Presidential candidates.
