Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) nominated Member Of Parliament Wilson Sossion has once again hinted at ditching Raila Odinga’s outfit to supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 agenda through the hustlers UDA party.
The new development is is seemingly ripe and just a matter of time following his revelation that he had been advised by his people ( elders) to support DP Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.
Taking online in a message shared through his Facebook page, Sossion revealed that he met with elders while requesting for their blessings for the race ahead, who also advised him to ditch Raila’s ODM and popularize Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
The former trade unionist was rallying support from the elders to vie for the Bomet County senatorial seat in the upcoming general election.
“They say charity begins at home, on Monday in my residence, the elders of Motigo Sub location in Bomet Central have decided to endorse my senate aspirations in 2022,” the Facebook post reads.
“The elders have advised me to stick on the prize and avoid backing any politician but to support the Deputy President William Ruto in his 2022 presidential bid, as well as popularizing the newly formed party UDA.” the post reads.
The announcement comes barely a month after the ODM nominated Senator stated that he is a life member of ODM and loyal to his party leader Raila Odinga all the way to the 2022 General Election and dismissed claims that he had joined the Hustler house.
“I am a life member of the ODM party, and I am very loyal to my party leader Raila Odinga. All those claims you are seeing on social media are just propaganda being pushed by my political distractors,” Sossion stated earlier.
The legislator was nominated to parliament by the Raila Odinga led Orange Democratic Movement party to represent the interests of the teachers at the National Assembly.
Sossion the Nominated Member Of Parliament recently quit his position as Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary General months ago, a position he held for five years since 2016.
