Gatundu South lawmaker Moses Kuria has shared details of how he selfishly took part in the destruction of National Economic & Social Council (NESC) put in place by former President Mwai Kibaki because they “feared intelligent people”.
In a tell-it-all post that the lawmaker opened up on how his selfish interest took center stage at the expense of Kenya’s interests, Kuria recounted how the whole plan was executed swiftly within 100 days of the Jubilee administration.
Kuria also took a swipe at the Jubilee administration under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta, comparing it against the achievements that were realized under former President Mwai Kibaki.
The DP Ruto foot-soldier hailed Mwai Kibaki as an intelligent and successful leader who established the National Economic & Social Council (NESC) , a crowd sourcing platform that was a veritable think tank that guided Kibaki in his chequered tenure.
“Like all highly intelligent and successful leaders, President Mwai Kibaki was very confident and sure of himself. He did not fear to be in the company of and to receive counsel from people with different and even superior ideas. That is why he mooted the National Economic & Social Council (NESC) , a crowd sourcing platform that was a veritable think tank that guided Kibaki in his chequered tenure.
“Kibaki created NESC from a simple executive order because he believed in it from his heart. When we took over as Jubilee Government we killed NESC within our first 100 days because we feared intelligent people. 9 years later, we now want to change the constitution through BBI to return what Kibaki established by a simple Executive Order. May Allah destroy Jubilee” Kuria wrote.
Lately, a bitter Moses Juria has been frequenting social media with his rants revealing what would have otherwise remained hidden.
Among the ills that the lawmaker has confessed to are receiving bribes so as to vote in a particular way rather than representing the interests of his constituents.
