Gatundu South Moses Kuria has raised an alarm over alleged rigging of the Kiambaa by-election, claiming that the same is underway and providing details.
Kuria stated that he had tried to reach IEBC boss Wafula Chebukati in vain leaving him with no option but to take it to social media to smoke out those behind the alleged plot.
“Dear Wafula Chebukati. You are not picking my phones. IEBC clerks from Kingothua Primary School have sneaked our KIEMS kits and conducting voting at valentine growers plantation.” Wrote the Gatundu South MP.
Kuria also provided photos of the vehicle which he alleged was used in the plot and urged the IEBC boss to call him back writing:
“This is the vehicle ferrying them. Call me back” Kuria wrote.
The Fiery lawmaker has been following the unfolding events in Kiambaa where Jubilee’s Kariri Njama is facing off with UDA’s John Wanjiku in a tough race that has been billed as the final face-off between DP Ruto and his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta that will determine who controls the votes in Mount Kenya.
In one of his many updates of the polls, Kuria alleged that UDA agent had been arrested in one of the polling stations writing:

“Dear CS Fred Matiangi. Remove all the Chief’s from the Kiambaa Polling Centres. You are putting their lives at risk” Read yet another.
Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya was also roughed up earlier in the day just a few minutes after Kuria warned him.
“Amos Kimunya, Dennis Waweru, Sabina Chege, Jude Njomo. We have been asked as politicians to keep off the polling Centres. IEBC and Police are unable to remove you. Get out of polling Centres or do not blame me.” Kuria warned.
A few minutes later Kimunya was roughed up with Kuria taking to social media to congratutlate the “jeshi” behind the incident writing:
